Book in the iconic series, this gripping novel is full of suspense, secrets and – of course magic from the incomparable pen of J. This book is in excellent (fine) condition, with a brightly coloured price unclipped dust jacket (illustrated by Jason Cockcroft) now protected by a book film cover. The boards are in fine condition and retain their bright colours (repeating the dust jacket design) and have no marks or bumps. The text block is tight (no spine lean) and endpapers/flypapers and pages are complete, clean and without inscriptions or marks save for some very minor age- related tanning. Printing ink error to front flypaper. A very collectable book and an excellent edition to a children’s library. Note: The front flypaper has a printing ink error i. The ink has slightly reprinted from page 1. This has been described as adding rarity value but I an not sure about that so will let potential buers decide.
