Up for Sale here are an Extremely RARE Set of.. (2) 2001 Harry Potter – “Invisibility Cloak Harry” Figures including the Original “Invisibility Cloak Harry” Clear Resin Figure as well as an Extremely RARE, One-of-a-kind, MISPRINT & Mistake “Invisibility Cloak Harry” Figure… Both Figures are NEW IN BOX – NIB or Mint on Card – MOC. About this Set of Two Figures.. The 1st figure is the “Original” release of the “Invisibility Cloak Harry” figure with the Original, Clear Resin Figure inside the blister-pack. This clear resin figure is the same figure that should be inside the 2nd Blister-pack as well. The 2nd Figure is Extremely Rare and very likely one-of-a-kind, and requires a little explanation to understand what’s going on with it.. First, This Figure has a Misprinted label on the front of the blister-pack that reads “Invisibility Cloak Harry – Wizard Collection” which obviously doesn’t match the figure inside the blister-pack! Secondly, This Figure was released on a “Short Card” and that Short Card is meant for a completely different series!! This size Card is for a different series of figures and doesn’t “fit” with the larger figures in this series! Thirdly, this figure has a Misprinted Card!! So, not only is the Card the wrong size for this figure but the Reverse of the Card also has a misprint!! The Misprint on the Card is on the Reverse of the Card which Shows Ron Weasely at the upper left section instead of “Invisibility Cloak Harry Potter”. The upper left section is where Mattel shows the consumer which figure is inside the blister-pack. In this case, the Card shows Ron Weasely as the figure that should be inside the blister-pack but “Gryffindor Harry Potter” is the Actual figure inside the blister-pack! The crazy thing about this one, in a nutshell, is that the Card shows Ron Weasely as the figure included in the blister-pack but the Blister-pack label says the “Invisibility Cloak Harry” figure should be inside the blister-pack but the “Short Card” size is meant for a completely different series of figures!! So, nothing about this figure is correct! The Card, Blister-pack and Figure inside are all Wrong as the figure inside is the “Gryffindor Harry Potter” figure from an earlier 2001 release!!! The figure inside the blister-pack isn’t even mentioned or shown on the card, as it should be, and that’s another Huge Mistake by Mattel! To sum up just how Rare this piece is.. This Figure has 4 Mattel Mistakes.. 3 Wrong Size Card. 4 Wrong Figure inside Blister-pack! I’m not sure how this happened but my theory is this….. Mattel somehow glued a 2nd series “Gryffindor Harry Potter” molded blister-pack to a First Series “Short Card”. Somehow, Mattel used a Short Card that was also Misprinted with Ron Weasely on the Reverse even though Ron Weasely wouldn’t fit on this card or in this blister-pack!! Then, Somehow Mattel placed a previously released “Gryffindor Harry Potter – Wizard Collection” Figure inside this horribly Mistaken and Misprinted Card & Blister-pack! This is, by far, one of the most erroneous Figures Mattel has ever released and, as such, it’s value is “Priceless” as this Piece is Truly One-of-a-kind!! I’m sure I could ask for much more but I’m in a position where I have to sell so I’m offering this Rarity for a very low price! Please see photos for condition of card and blister. Blister-packs may show slight scuffing or wear from storage, but any wear is minimal and the Figures remain Mint in Blister-pack! Cards also may show signs of normal wear from storage but nothing major to note. This One-of-a-kind Lot of TWO “Invisibility Cloak Harry Potter” Figures were Released by Mattel in late 2001 and they come from one of the largest and most extensive Harry Potter Collections ever assembled. That collection was mine and I began collecting all things Harry Potter right after I read the first Harry Potter book to my daughter in 1999. To be clear, what I’m offering for sale isn’t just hype.
