For sale is a Signed Hardcover U. 1st Edition, 7th Print Bloomsbury published Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban by J. Bloomsbury First Edition, not Ted Smart, book club or foreign edition. Number line reads “10 9 8 7″ Printed and bound in Great Britain by Clays Ltd, St Ives plc. This is a clean authentic J. Rowling signature from late 1999 on the cover page which was the typical placement of her signings at that time. Signatures this early are extremely rare and highly sought after, and this one is really special as it is very hard to find the U. First Edition signed as Rowling did many more signings in the U. To support the first year of U. All points of her signature have been authenticated by multiple top Rowling signature experts as being a late 1999 signature. This is one that I would like to keep in my personal collection and it is very bittersweet to be letting it move to its next home. This book is in Near Fine Condition. Dust Jacket Condition Details: Near Fine. Jacket is not price-clipped. All lettering and illustration colors are crisp and bright with no sun fading. There are no stains to the jacket inside or out. There are no scratches or tears to the jacket, and just very slight rubbing. There is almost no edge wear, very slight. The corners wrapping the boards are great with minimal wear. The inside dust flap corners are sharp. Overall, this jacket is in excellent condition. Book & Boards Condition Details: Near Fine. There is no writing or inscriptions inside or out (other than Rowling signature of course). The binding is unread. Cover colors and illustrations are bright with no fading. There are no scuffs or scratches. The pages and page edges are excellent. There is minimal edge wear to the boards. The corners have very slight wear, but nothing much at all. There is minimal inward curling to the top and bottom edges of the spine wrap. There is a minor 1 wrinkle/bend to the wrap only on the back cover close to the top outside corner, but not bad (zoom picture #8). There are no dog eared or bumping page edges. This is an excellent signed copy, very hard to find one in better condition. This book will make an excellent addition for any HP Fan/Collector seeking a Signed U. 1st Edition Prisoner of Azkaban for their collection!
